Last night was a great a night. I belong to two magic clubs in Miami, IBM (International Brotherhood Of Magicians ) Ring 45 and S.A.M (Society of American Magicians) Assembly 280. Well last night was the IBM's Annual Banquet where we have a dinner , a show ,an award ceremony and the swearing in of the new officers.
I performed at the banquet performing between Sabu (local Magician) and Allain Choquette ( As seen on World's Greatest Magic and inventor of the ACE trick David Copperfield uses in his show). The awards were presented after dinner and before the show. I was awarded the Ring 45 Magician of the year award! I was very honored to accept it.
AND!!!! To top that off! I was informed that I have also been nominated for the same award at the S.A.M banquet January 29th, Where I am also performing! Hmmmm...? ;-),.

I also need to say ,It feels great that nearly everyone I talk to lately tells me how great I look. It's inspiring, to keep at it. I have lost 40+ pounds now and feel great.

Carnival Splendor:"Smoke On The Water"
OK , finally home and catching up from my West Coast adventure.You've probably heard enough about the cruise already with the media coverage and all so I'll keep it short. So , My friend "Gunky" and I left the keys on Thursday November 4Th , spent the night in Fort Lauderdale and flew to LAX on Friday morning ,We hung out at the Magic Castle (private club in Hollywood) Friday night and had our "Magic Cruise" meeting there on Saturday as well, for the pre-cruise party of 158 Magic Cruisers. Sunday we Boarded the Carnival Splendor and left the dock around 6pm.
Sunday night we had a welcome party (magicians only) and performances by a few of the star magicians of the cruise. Hung out for a while,checked out the awesome ship and called it a night.
I was on the 8th floor, and was woke up by the rumbling and shaking of the ship. not sure what to think I went back to sleep,about 20 minutes later the smell of smoke (electrical fire smell)woke me again and I woke up Gunky "I smell smoke".just then the cruise director,John, came over the loud speaker evacuating all cabins to an outside deck. "this is not an emergency and you will not need your life jackets,there is just smoke,No Fire". lol.
We made our way to the nearest deck and waited for more info from John, As time went on people got restless , this is when Sean Howell and I decided to perform and keep people calm. It worked, other magicians jumped in and we did an hour show for about 60 people and there kids.
Time went on and more announcements from John, Soon he informed us the ship was without power and the cruise was terminated. we drifted 60 miles overnight and were dead in the water, lost at sea. No power, no water , no hot food for the first day or so, Finally they got the cold water running and we could all flush our very small and FULL cabin toilets. Cold showers and cold food,Fruit, Salads and Skimpy sandwiches were served until we were found and they dropped us more food. Yes there were pop-tarts and Spam, but they never served the SPAM, we had fresh fruit and salads daily along with the sandwiches , "OH The Sandwiches. " Anyway, there were emergency hallway lights and Stairwell light. just darkness in the rooms. No power, so no elevators ,lots of stair walking all week.(We may be the only "Cruisers" to ever loose weight , But all the White bread sandwiches didn't help.)
Finally we were joined by Tugboats, Coastguard and the SS Ronald Reagan and guided to the Port Of San Diego over two or three days.
Meanwhile on the ship, Our magic group continued to have our lectures by daylight, in a small stuffy room which got very warm as the day went on and the sun hit the windows.(no AC) and we (some of us)entertained ourselves and cruisers by dim lighting in the evenings. We're all home safe! ,we still had fun and saw tons of magic, Plus we get our money back and a free cruise. It's all good, Now go enjoy my photos , Until Next time . Rock ON!

Flying Rays
Well, It's still been pretty slow , show wise, here in the Keys.We are starting to see some of the "early bird" Snow birds come down so that's a good sign.
Today is 2 months Sober for me and I weighed in at 190 lbs for a total weight loss of 35 lbs ! I really can't remember the last time i weighed 190 so I am very happy but think i wanna lose 10 more. The man boobs gotta go ! LOL .
I do 100 push ups (modified, off guard rails and stuff) along my 3 mile walk every day and one of my stops is at the top of Snake Creek Bridge , where i put my feet up on the cement guard rail and my hand on the hand rail , so i am "planked' across the walking path and looking out over Snake Creek to the Atlantic Ocean (It's A beautiful site) and I am looking down about , I don't Know , 25 feet?. Well I stop here for 20 push ups on my way out and 20 on the way back. Today on the way back as soon as I finished, stepped down , stood up straight and looked out over the River a Huge Stingray (probably 5ft "wing span") Leaped up out of the water about four feet and had some serious hang time. Man, That was an awesome thing to see . I remember a year or two ago there was an incident where a Ray came up out of the water ,flying over a small boat, knocking a lady down , where she banged her head and died. A horrible story for a Father Daughter day of fishing, and a freak occasion. I had never heard anything like that until that story but, today I believe it! Talk about BAD TIMING . NO the Ray didn't plan an attack on the lady , just wrong place, wrong time.
Two weeks until I finally get to see the "Magic Castle" in Hollywood CA . for two days, then a week long Magicians Cruise to Mexico , then another night at the Castle. I am so psyched BUT really really really hope it's busier when I return ! $$$

SOBER / MAGIC
Hello all, Well it's been a great couple weeks since I last blogged. Not because my shows have been crazy busy 'cause they haven't it's been slow here in the Keys with the kids back in school etc.. just that time of year again where things slow down for a couple months.
The first of the great news is that I finally got into MAGIC magazine. My show was reviewed by popular magic director Joanie Spina , In her monthly column she reviews magic shows and gives performance advice ...... TOO FUNNY > As i am writing this, Joanie Spina just called me to inform me that MAGIC magazine requests people not to post articles from the magazine for at least a month after release. So I am going to respect that and take down my scanned photos of it and send an e-mail to the editor asking permission to post and request a PDF file. ( I had it posted in this blog, but..., maybe next time.)
Other awesome news; Back in July I bought myself an early birthday present, a book that I planned on reading after my England shows and my birthday binge. The book is called "THE ALCOHOLISM AND ADDICTION CURE" by Chris Prentiss.I wont get to involved with details because I have younger fans that may be reading this. The book basically teaches you that being dependant on alcohol (the drug Ethanol. which we now put in our vehicles)and addictive drugs is not an incurable disease , it is simply a symptom of underlying causes. there are many reasons people use substances to block out pain and it is different for everybody, so I wont get into that either. But the guy's philosophy on life and what is true in the Universe really hit home with me and changed my way of looking at life. You really do control your own destiny. I'm not going to preach about this, that's just not me, but what I will do is attempt to show you by creating the future I want for myself. Guess you'll have to stay tuned to see how I do. The book can be purchased in hard copy, on discs, or as an audio book from itunes . from http://www.passagesmalibu.com/ I have read the book and listened to it twice. (great stories too.) You need not be dependant on drugs or alcohol to learn a great deal from this book. (this is what my family is getting for Christmas this year.)
I ask daily for the Universe and the World's elements : Earth, Air , Fire and Water to share with me the power and knowledge to manifest my goals and dreams of becoming a financially successful touring/performing magician. And I believe it will happen, I have put in the hard work, practice time, stage time etc, I believe I am ready to move ahead in the magic community one more step. We'll see.....

UK Trip Slash Birthday.
On July 19th 2010 I packed one suitcase full of clothes and two road cases full of my magic show gear and props,and left the Florida Keys , I drove to Miami where I boarded Virgin Atlantic Flight #5 to London Heathrow International Airport in England. I arrived in England for my 5th time (I think) , Thanks to my great friends Mandy , Fin and Billy Parker. I am here this time for 2 1/2 weeks in order to perform 3 shows in Devin England , 1st Mandy's business partner and best friend Martin 's 50th birthday bash, Man these people know how to throw a party .(Once my Vodka arrived ;-) . The second show was a fundraiser for Mandy's charity. Then was the "Party Weekend" Friday and Sunday were parties held at Mandy And Fin's new Six bedroom,beautiful home in Devin.These parties included catered food , spur of the moment jam sessions by fellow Americans Billy Davidson, Steve Webb and Mark Macri , Mandy joined in to sing many songs as well and of course we had Close-up Magic sessions too. great time! Saturday was Mandy's and Fin's Big party which was held in a huge field and included a huge tent for the American's musical performance and my Magic Show, all went over GREAT! I flew to the UK a few days before everybody else as I needed to meet my new friend Scott Penrose at London's Magic Circle to pick his doves which he lends me while I am abroad as i cannot bring mine due to the six month quarantine. So I was picked up at the airport by another great friend Spike Kelly , got the doves and stayed with him and wife Jackie for the first couple days in Shepperton England and got to hang out at the "The Kings Head " Pub where i have performed in the past. Then Off to Devin, In moving to Devin from Shepperton Fin Parker has started a new career, in Bird and Pest control. Which involves owning a very cool Harris Hawk named Alfie, I got to fly this bird and feed it out in the wild. man it was awesome. Here is a short video off me holding and Fin Flying Alfie. I also spent 20 hours in two day on a three story roof helping Fin gull proof it by place those spikes all around the ledge so Seagulls can't land there, Putting gull wire along the peek and netting at the base so they cant nest there,It had been a long time since I worked a full day at a "Real" job. Guess it was kinda cool. lol.
All the parties were Awesome, I spent most of my downtime just relaxing as i perform six nights a week here in the keys and really enjoyed my time off by reading the Autobiography of Rock Star Slash ( Guns N' Roses & Velvet Revolver) which was a birthday gift from Jackie Kelly, Thanx again Jack.I spent the last couple days off my trip back in Shepperton with the the Kelly's and at the Kings Head Pub. Flew home on August 5th, turned 40 on August six, Had a week long party binge and am back on track now ready to continue with my Diet and exercise program and back to six nights a week, It's all Hot and Sweaty! I miss the UK weather......Special Thanks again to the Parker Family for all the great times.. Until next time,,, Rock ON!

40 ?! Holy Sh*t !
Haven't blogged in awhile, not much to say but.. Been staying busy, rained out a few times this week. Got a Keratin treatment on my hair this week, It straightens and smooths the hair , I had it done on Sat and cant wash it til Tues but it's stick straight right now and I love it, I may never wash it again! LOL, it will get a bit curley again when I do but wont (or shouldn't) be frizzy again for about 3-6 months .We'll see!
Anyway ...trying to get to work on this new effect for the show however products have not arrive in the mail yet and the new baby dove is still kind of relying on Ma and Pa to feed him, but slowly he's learning to eat from my hand. I'm afraid all my work with him will be wasted when I go to England for over 2 weeks. Unlike the parakeets (parrots) Doves forget easily and must be worked with all the time, Luckily I perform six nights a week so i get paid to keep my other doves in Line!.

Looking forward!!
Well, Another awesome week , got all six shows in. Kids are out of school and it seems families ARE coming to the keys on vacation despite the NEWS Stations freakin everyone out about the oil. Don't get me wrong , it's a horrible disaster but right now it is not affecting the Keys. Fishing , snorkeling, diving ,swimming... it's all still good right now. (Hopefully they'll get it all taken care of before it does reach us here.)
Got some new magic ideas I am working on , .... as often as I say "NO MORE BIRD TRICKS" There's always "one more thing I wanna do". Hopefully these last couple things will wrap up my dove act. I love performing the doves but it's really getting ridiculous to try and travel with them by air without spending a ton of cash. And forget internationally . Luckily I've got a new friend named Scott Penrose in London who kindly lends me his doves when I'm across the pond.
I joined Jillian Michaels online Diet/ fitness club this week http://www.jillianmichaels.com/ , It's only $4.00 a week and it makes it easy for you to keep track of all the calories you take in and track all that you burn. They start by giving you (funny) "A MAGIC NUMBER" if you eat this many calories per day you will lose 2 pounds a week., But you also get a weekly workout program which varies from day to day, you get two days off from the workouts and one work out day is cardio only. They also give you a full meal menu every day but I am not shopping for ALL THAT STUFF, so I just log what I eat and what exercise I do and it figures out your calories in verse your calories out each day, pretty cool,.... so far.....
Looking forward to rest of my year, London next month, magic cruise in November and hopefully home for Christmas this year. We'll see how the finances are by then .. Til next time ROCK ON and I"ll see you , on stage!!

Weightloss Guru/ Professional BITCH!
It is Sunday June 13th 11:45 AM , there is a heat index of 100 degrees, and I just jogged the full 3 miles that I normally walk!! ( I walked about an 1/8 of it). I'm friggin' psyched it's getting easier every time. I would also like to thank myself today, ....for committing to a healthier life , it has been almost 2 years since I quit smoking cigarettes, where I did gain a bit of weight,(I was up to 225 lbs) And only 2 1/2 months since I decided to start eating healthy and exercise ,where in I have lost 16 pounds and seem to be at a plateau but I am dedicated , as I mentioned in my first blog to reach 199 lbs before my 40Th birthday on August 6Th.
I would also like to thank my ex-girlfriend Helen C . for leaving me, I know that sounds horrible but, she saw that I was on a path of self-destruction, tried to help , then just had enough . I cant blame her. They say "everything happens for a reason" (Not sure who "They" are but I think they're correct). It wasn't til Helen left me that I really took a look at my life and my lifestyle......... My life IS GOOD, I work hard at what I love , Performing, But I partied even harder for a lot of years. Anyway, I hear Helen is back in school and doing great and I wish her well, I will never forget the many good times we did have together, and apologise for the not so good times. (I hope she sees this.)
Today I'll begin reading (for the second time) a book called "Mastery,The keys To Success And Long Term fulfillment" by George Leonard . I highly recommend this book, it is under ten bucks and under 200 pages but may set you on a path to mastering every area of your life. you can find it at www.amazon.com/Mastery-Keys-Long-Term-Fulfillment/dp/0542267560 .

MID- WEEK Blog
Well Things are begining to S L O W D O W N here in the keys now that Memorial Day weekend is over, and it's gettin' HOT. I sweat my ass off on my walk/jog this morning, YEAH I KNOW "That's the idea" but damn!
Shows are still going well, I took tonight off so I can attend the IBM (International Brotherhood of Magicians) meeting in Miami , plus I get to shop on the way up ;-), Time for new sneakers, tennis shoes , "Yeah that's right, I play tennis now, only on Wednesdays , please dont tell anybody" LOL. great exercise, good SWEAT!!!!
DVD's are selling at the shows fairly well, I really thought I would have sold more to my Facebook friends and fans! But, I know times are tough, Please save your pennies and show your support and appreciation for all the time and effort I put into my ART . I love entertaining people with magic LIVE every night , Let me entertain your friends and family in the privacy of your own home! Well I've had another great week , six successful shows in a row. Now my day off! I started with a three mile walk (jogged part of it today!) came home and jumped in the canal out back and took an outside shower, life is good.. .. Grocery shopping, what a nightmare , the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend in the Keys! Not a well thought out shopping trip but I survived. Then off to the laundry mat Blah......Came home and cleaned the whole place top to bottom, (even new rugs for the bathroom.) who cares? lol.... Got lots done this week, especially today. Now it's six O'clock and im thinkin 'bout a movie or maybe just relax with tv or XBOX.
Still loving my juicer! been do well , eating fruit ,veggies and fish or chicken. with a few slip ups this week. But still, I'm down to 209 lbs! that is 16 lbs less than when i started this blog.

Teachers pet
Had an awesome week even though i fought a horrible head cold all week! I left the Keys for Jacksonville Florida on Friday the 14th . Arrived at the Hotel feeling the crap so just hung out in the room until Sat at 7:00pm when i headed across the street to Sawgrass Marriot for the Jeff McBride show and lecture. Jeff was awesome as always ,he performed for 90 minutes, took a 10 minute break then taught magic for another 90 minutes. After everyone left he , myself and Simone (organised the whole event) and her son Travis (awesome people) all hung for a bit had pizza and turkey clubs from the bar.
Sunday Morning I picked Jeff up at the Hotel at 8:30 and we went to see our friend Mohamed's new magic theater he built in his front yard. $$$! We got back to the meeting place for Jeff's workshop around 10:30 where he taught from noon until 4 pm! then he was off to the airport and i went to dinner with Simone and Travis.
Still feeling like crap i got back to my hotel around 9 pm , slept til 10 am then drove in the pouring rain 7 .5 hours to Miami ,set up, did a show and drove another 1.5 hours home to the Keys, PHEW! took last night (Tues) off to recover and got rained out tonight.
More time to set up my new stage Jacket, It's looking pretty cool!

Mother's Day
May 9th 2010 , Happy Mother's Day to my Mom and to All the other Moms out there !!. Had another busy week here in the Keys, another six shows this week! Plus helping the Children's Theatre group on my day off and one afternoon before my gig. It's been fun working with the kids for the special effect's in their play "Into The Woods". I got to create the illusion of the "Wicked Step Mother" cutting off the heel and big toe of the " Step Sister's" with blood and all,... COOL!. It looks great! ( Happy Mother's Day). Too bad I wont be in town to see the LIVE performances as I will be in Jacksonville FL studying with Master Magician Jeff McBride. I hope to at least see a full dress rehearsal before leaving.
What else? ..... Sobriety and Fitness? Ummm the diet and exercise part is going well , walking almost daily, Playing volleyball and tennis once a week... The sobriety part? Not so much . I am doing WAY better than I have in the past but it still gets away from me once in a while. I've been doing it for so long now, I just like a couple drinks before I go on, That's not the problem though. Continuing drinking after the show IS. Adrenaline is pumpin' , people telling you how much they enjoyed the show and wanting to party with you, It's a great feeling but it's easy to get carried away too. I have gotten better at just going home after the shows though, I went out twice this week but am trying to keep that to once a week!
I am SOOO excited about my DVD release, I may not get them until i get back from Jax but it'll be a great coming home gift. 300 copies! Busy Busy Busy.
Alright !! another day off! first one since April 11th , which if i remember correctly was a very busy day off. Today ? not much different , Grocery shopping , laundry , Blah Blah Blah ... then going to Coral Shores High School to consult the Theater Group with some magical effects for their upcoming production of "Into The Woods" which is a strange clusterf**k of all the fairy tales mixed into one. I look forward to helping them out, though i will not be here to see the final product as i will be in Jacksonville Florida for the Jeff McBride weekend,Show,lecture, workshop! (My favorite magician).
Other news since the last Blog, I did A BUNCH of reading on fruit and how to eat it and how or when NOT to eat fruit. Here is the site where i found the fruit essays by Dr Herbert M Shelton http://www.rawfoodexplained.com/ . (search fruit or Dr Shelton). Anyway I ate SOOO much fruit last week ,(if you eat nothing but fruit for 3 days you will perform a full body cleanse, and your friends will tell you how radiant you look , lol) If you would like the original, very informative and short fruit fact sheet i received by e-mail contact me at trixx@michaeltrixx.com and I'll forward it to you. Though I was feeling great, I became so sick of fruit so I went out this week and bought the Jack LeLanne's Power Juicer (yup , that's the old ,crazy, healthy guy on the infomercials). Man this thing is AWESOME! I can have like 3 apples, 3 oranges,3 kiwi, 2 pears, a bunch of grapes and a pint strawberries in just a few huge sips. they taste great and you get tons of vitamins and minerals, and energy!! Tons of fruit combos that taste great and NO peeling or chopping or dicing ya just throw it in there and BOOM, JUICE! I have continued walking at least four times a week and lost 12 pounds in April,I am planning on sticking with these new fruit "RULES" and see where it takes me.
My magic DVD is just about done!, I am going to watch the final edit (again) right now! My best friend Blaine from http://www.perrywebcreations.com/ is putting the final touches on the DVD cover (front and back) and i am hoping to order them early this week!! Return flight training saved my ass!!
Driving to work last night I was thinking " Wow I'm going to have a pretty boring Blog report tomorrow my week was pretty repetitive ": Wake up , walk and /or work out on heavy bag. ( My new UFC heavy bag and UFC MMA gloves) do household chores and run errands , nap, go do show (still only having one to two drinks per night, )
Little did I know this good but mundane week was about to take a crazy turn! Got to my show,set-up, performed for an awesome crowd (mostly. as you'll see) made lots of money. Packed up,got paid and went to leave , As i put my hand over the backside of the passenger seat to look back and back out of my spot i noticed what had happened.
I noticed my bird cage was gone from my back seat!!!! I went to the stage, stopped the band ,got on the mic and made the announcement, " Somebody stole my 5 doves out of truck, if anybody saw any please let me know!! (possibly a couple other words LOL) then a property search ensued , i called 911 and i set a block at the exit to search all vehicles on their way out, with no luck there i took another walk around the property and notice a couple sitting alone out on the beach but in view of my truck . I went and ask if they had seen anything and in broken English the replied, "I see lady run with gray box over to water and throw white in air" SHOW ME WHERE!!!! . He walked me over to my now empty bird cage sitting ocean side!. Some drunk B*TCH thought she'd free these poor doves.
Well these birds are home breed and hand fed and trained by ME. they rely on me and could not survive in the wild. So what she had actually done was set up a morning buffet for the Osprey and Hawks. they would be dead at sunrise! I had a team of fans with flashlights helping me search i spotted one in a mangrove tree and got him right away, soon i saw and retrieved another, one of my helpers scored another one just as someone else around the corner yelled" I see another one, I went and got that one. Still one missing, the Cops show up and we all search for like an hour with no luck. I said i bet he's sitting out on the edge of this Mangrove , hanging over the water where we cant see, So i went to the bar , found somebody with a boat and cruised out there, Sure enough there was my fifth bird sitting in the tree. HE pulled the boat right up to the tree and i got him!!!! ALL 5 BIRDS RECOVERED SAFELY.
LUCKY for me i train my birds to "return flight" to me in case they do get away from me in a show (all my shows are outside and my birds are full winged.) So when she tossed them one by one out over the windy ocean each one turned and flew back, not be able to find me, they landed in trees and waited for me to come get them!!!
That stupid "ANIMAL LOVER" almost killed all my birds which would have put me out of work for months!!! Karma is a bitch and i hope she gets hers in the end, ... the rear end!!!!!!!!!!

Day Off
Finally had a day off, first one since i got back from Boston on March 29th. But it was still a busy and productive day, dispite fallin' off the wagon last night. I had a photo shoot this morning for the cover of my upcoming DVD. Also shot my intro to the video and shot the "Learn Magic From Trixx" section of the DVD where I teach 5 tricks you can do to rock your friends and family.

Past ,Present, Future.
PAST:
More than once this week people asked me questions that got me thinking of highlights of my magic career. Well as a former Bass player I always wanted to be a Rockstar., And lots of my idols are!! So , Two great things have happened to me because of my magic. One, I got to meet my all time favorite band, Motley Crue! My Idol Nikki Sixx (hence the Trixx in Michael Trixx). Another awesome moment was doing my Show, opening for Slash's Snakepit when he first left Guns N' Roses. I got to hang with him all day before the show, At the radio station, club etc.. He was the coolest M*th*RF*ck*R ever, No Rockstar attitude at all! very cool guy.

On March 27th 2010 I flew to Boston for my best friends 40th surprise birthday party, while at his house over the weekend we watched a couple episodes of Celebrity Fit Club on VH1. I was inspired by seeing Rocker Sebastian Bach from Skid Row on the show. When I got home I weighed myself and was a shocking 225 pounds! So one week ago i dedicated myself to getting healthier and dropping some lbs. I have walked three miles EVERY morning in a Sauna suit, done some light weights ,started watching my diet and only have one drink per night at my show and NO heavy partying! So it has been ONE week and I've lost 7 pound s!!! Man that just makes me wanna keep going! I hope to lose a toal of 25 pounds before my 40 th Birthday , August 6th 2010. Stay tuned to see what happens! Will I make it?
FUTURE:
January 1st 2010 I set a few goals for the year and hung it on my wall. One, was to win another magic competition, ....I did that in January 14-16 2010 at Myrtle Beach's "Magic At The Beach" in SC . http://www.magicatthebeach.org/ .
2nd was to study with my "Magic Idol" Jeff Mcbride again. I am already signed up for a weekend with him in May , here in FL !
My 3rd goal was to finally visit the Magic Castle in CA. Well I am already registered for David Sandy's Magic Cruise 2010 out of CA and the pre-party happens to be .... yup you guessed it, At the Magic Castle in Hollywood! So this promises to be a good year for me!

Another awesome moment was doing my Show, opening for Slash's Snakepit when he first left Guns N' Roses. I got to hang with him all day before the show, At the radio station, club etc.. He was the coolest M*th*RF*ck*R ever, No Rockstar attitude at all! very cool guy.

On March 27th 2010 I flew to Boston for my best friends 40th surprise birthday party, while at his house over the weekend we watched a couple episodes of Celebrity Fit Club on VH1. I was inspired by seeing Rocker Sebastian Bach from Skid Row on the show. When I got home I weighed myself and was a shocking 225 pounds! So one week ago i dedicated myself to getting healthier and dropping some lbs. I have walked three miles EVERY morning in a Sauna suit, done some light weights ,started watching my diet and only have one drink per night at my show and NO heavy partying! So it has been ONE week and I've lost 7 pound s!!! Man that just makes me wanna keep going! I hope to lose a toal of 25 pounds before my 40 th Birthday , August 6th 2010. Stay tuned to see what happens! Will I make it?
FUTURE:
January 1st 2010 I set a few goals for the year and hung it on my wall. One, was to win another magic competition, ....I did that in January 14-16 2010 at Myrtle Beach's "Magic At The Beach" in SC . http://www.magicatthebeach.org/ .
2nd was to study with my "Magic Idol" Jeff Mcbride again. I am already signed up for a weekend with him in May , here in FL !
My 3rd goal was to finally visit the Magic Castle in CA. Well I am already registered for David Sandy's Magic Cruise 2010 out of CA and the pre-party happens to be .... yup you guessed it, At the Magic Castle in Hollywood! So this promises to be a good year for me!
NEWS:
Next week Monday April 12 and Wednesday April 14 i will be shooting a DVD , LIVE at the LOR E LEI here in Islamorada , Florida Keys. Shortly after that It will be for SALE!!!!
Wow , lots to say today huh? these probably will not normally be this long....YAWN LOL.

First Blog
My name is Michael Trixx I am a magician from Cape Cod MA but now live and perform magic in South Florida , The Florida Keys (Islamorada /Key Largo) This is my first blog but I will not be telling my life story up until now, I will just start bloggin' from here on out. However to my credit I will share a couple quick details of my career in the past few years.
I perform 5-6 nights a week in the FLorida Keys.
As of August 2005 I have studied with my Idol/Mentor Jeff McBride in Las Vegas at his Magic And Mystery School http://www.magicalwisdom.com/
Back in 2008 I appeared on the NBC show America's Got Talent , where they edited the auditions to make me any many other magicians look bad. Sharon NEVER X'd ME!
In November of 2008 I competed at Daytona Magic's Florida State Magic Convention earning Second place in STAGE MAGIC and 3rd Place in CLOSE-UP MAGIC.
November 2009 I competed at Daytona Magic's FLorida State Magic Convention Taking First Place in STAGE MAGIC, Second Place in STROLLING MAGIC and Third Place in CLOSE-UP MAGIC.
January 2010 I competed in South Carolina at MAGIC AT THE BEACH in Myrtle Beach taking First Place in STAGE MAGIC there also!!!
I am on a roll. but for now still performing 6 nights a week here in the Upper Keys.
